About the Project
A brand new project in which young people will explore issues such as coastal change, biodiversity loss, rural sustainability and community resilience. Through a series of youth-led workshops, creative activities and digital media projects, participants will examine how climate change is affecting their local environments, communities and future opportunities. Youth Climate Justice
Young Social Innovators is proud to be one of ten youth-led climate justice projects funded by the Department of Education and Youth. The project empowers young people to explore climate justice through creativity, collaboration, and community action, helping them understand local environmental challenges while connecting them to global issues.
Learning Through Action
Through youth-led workshops, creative activities, and digital media projects facilitated by multidisciplinary artist Joy Redmond, participants will investigate topics including coastal change, biodiversity loss, rural sustainability, and community resilience. Together, they’ll develop new perspectives, share ideas, and inspire meaningful climate action.
